Sebastian Marbacher is a Switzerland based product designer. After his apprenticeship as a draftsman he graduated in 2013 from the Zurich School of Arts (ZHdK) with a BA in industrial design. In the last four years he has worked on several self-initiated projects and collaborated with commercial clients and institutions. Marbacher is interested in objects which refer to the human body, such as furniture and spaces. He prefers working with unpretentious materials and embraces solutions which come up during the process in the given space. The often sculputal pieces have always a significanct social function. © All Images.
