Christian Haas
Designer
Industrial designer Christian Haas started his freelance design career in 2000, with studios in Munich and, since 2007, in Paris. He graduated in 1999, but while still studying he already developed a particular passion for designing tableware. He became Art Director at Nachtmann, the renowned manufacturer of crystal ware, and was jointly responsible for the well-received rejuvenation of the product line and the brand identity. Haas worked with renowned companies like Villeroy & Boch, Rosenthal, Theresienthal and Volkswagen. His astonishingly diverse portfolio includes chinaware and glassware in particular, but he also develops interior concepts as he just recently did for Autostadt Wolfsburg. He designs lighting solutions and furniture and also produces sketchbooks, each dedicated to a specific topic.
