Claudia Grassl graduated from the Public Academy for Photography and Communication Design in Munich - where also Juergen Teller studied. For her graduation project, Claudia travelled to Texas and made her first USA inspired series called Young Americans in 2001. She immediately fell in love and since then lives and works between Germany and the US, drawing inspiration from both cultures.  Claudia shows an amazing engagement with the models and people around her on every shoot, she creates a naturally strong personal connection with the subjects and locations.
